The Center for development of the South-East planning region in accordance with the Agreement concluded between the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the units of local self-government from the South-East planning region has planned certain activities and events that need to be implemented in this period. One of these activities is the implementation of a two-day workshop on the topic "Introduction to the work of the Center for development of SEPR, preparation of project applications and project cycle management".

The workshop was held on December 19 and 20, 2017 in the "Hall of Army" in Strumica, and the participants were representatives from the LED departments of all municipalities in SEPR.

During the first day, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with methods of implementing the policies for balanced regional development, useful information related to project management methodology, SWOT analysis, project formulation, while the second day was devoted to practical work during which the application form for the preparation of projects was explained.

The purpose of this two-day workshop was to familiarize the employees of the departments for Local Economic Development with the methods of implementing the policies for balanced regional development as well as acquiring wider knowledge in the area of project preparation and implementation.
