TECHNOLOGICAL INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ZONES

The Technological Industrial Development Zones are part of the territory of the Republic of Macedonia as part of the customs area, separated from the rest of the customs area, and they represent a separate fenced and marked area that represents functional units in which activities are performed under the conditions prescribed by the LAW ON CUSTOMS. DEVELOPMENT ZONES and other laws applicable to customs and tax benefits established by the LAW ON TECHNICAL INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ZONES and other law. Technological industrial development zones are formed to develop highly propulsive and modern technologies by introducing economically profitable production and efficient use of resources by applying the highest environmental standards. Technological industrial development zones are free zones in terms of customs and tax laws.

TECHNOLOGICAL INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ZONES have been constructed on the territory of the South-East Planning Region at the following locations:

INDUSTRIAL ZONES

Industrial zone is a part of the territory of the Republic of Macedonia owned by the Republic of Macedonia, a specially fenced and marked area that is a functional unit in which activities are performed under conditions prescribed by the Law on Industrial Zones and other laws. The founder of an industrial zone may be a unit of local self-government or the Government of the Republic of Macedonia. The zone operator may be a public enterprise or a company established by the local government unit when the founder of the zone is the local government unit, or the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones when the zone founder is the Government of the Republic of Macedonia. Any natural person registered as a sole proprietor under the Company Law and / or a legal person registered as a trading company under the Company Law, who owns part of the land, carrying on business may be the owner of part of the zone. in the zone and which has concluded an activity contract with the founder of the zone and has been issued a decision to start a business.

TOURIST ZONES

Tourist development zone is a special fenced and marked area that is a functional unit formed for tourism development by introducing standards in services, as well as efficient and efficient use of resources by applying the highest environmental standards in which activities are carried out under conditions prescribed by law. for tourist zones and other law. The zone is based on the area for which urban planning documentation for tourist development zones has been adopted as well as other appropriate urban planning documentation provided in accordance with the Law on Spatial and Urban Planning. A zone can be established if the land is fully owned by the Republic of Macedonia. Upon preparation of the urban planning documentation, the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, upon a proposal by the Agency for Promotion and Support of the Tourism of the Republic of Macedonia, shall adopt a decision on establishing a tourist development zone, which shall determine the scope and space for the establishment of the zone and the construction land. shall be alienated in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Tourist Zones. Any domestic or foreign natural or legal person who has concluded a contract for the alienation of construction land within the tourist development zone with the Agency for Promotion and Support of Tourism may be a user of a tourist development zone.
