BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT THE MUNICIPALITY

In the middle part of the fertile Strumica field between the mountains Ograzden and Belasica the municipality of Bosilovo is located. It borders the neighboring municipalities of Strumica, Novo Selo, Vasilevo and Berovo. Municipality of Bosilovo has its own history as an old municipality that existed from 1952 until 1963, when the rural municipalities were abolished. Since its first founding was on 10th of April 1952, today this day is the Municipality celebration day.

According to the territorial organization of local self government units as of 2005 the territory of the Municipality of Bosilovo was comprised of the following 16 populated surrounding areas: Bosilovo, Turnovo, Radovo, Ilovica, Shtuka, Sekirnik Borievo, Monospitovo, Robovo, Ednokukjevo, Petralinci, Saraj Gecherlija, Drvosh, Hamzali and Staro Baldovci.

The municipality of Bosilovo has the Industrial zone “Robovo” which is found on excellent location near the main road A4 that leads to Republic of Bulgaria and a new one industrial zone named Hamzali.
